User Guide - Viewer

The Viewer application is what the factory operators use to visualize and control the process. The screens created by the Maker application are displayed by the Viewer application which also connects to the Server application to obtain the real-time PLC data. 

The Viewer application does not ask which workspace to open unless the Server application or Maker application has not opened a workspace. Viewer simply uses the last workspace that either Maker or Server opened. 

An active ethernet connection to the computer running the Server application is needed. The ip address of the server computer is configured for each workspace using the Maker application in the File->Properties menu option. If the Server application is running on the same computer as the Viewer application, use 'localhost' for the ip address.
